6 Indian Army Soldiers killed in firing among themselves. On Wednesday in Chhattisgarh’s Narayanpur district, five Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) personnel were killed and three others wounded in an exchange of fire.
The incident took place at the 45th battalion of ITBP’s Kadenar camp in Narayanpur, about 350 km from here, police inspector general Sundarraj P told PTI.
An ITBP jawan allegedly shot his service weapon at his colleagues, killing four of them and injuring three others, he said.
Later, he said, the jawan that opened fire was also shot down.
The injured staff was being transferred to the hospital, he said.
