Hotels in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, have been allowed to open private beaches. but with Strict precautions must be taken during this time.
Dubai Tourism Authority Statement
According to local media, hotels located on the beach in city have been allowed to open private beaches for guests only. This permission is granted at a time when Dubai is considering softening the restrictions imposed due to coronavirus.
In city, the Supreme Committee of Crisis Management has taken new steps to lift restrictions on the movement of people, including the opening of public parks and the opening of private beaches in hotels.
Recreational activities such as cycling, water sports, and skydiving have also been allowed, as well as the return of the Dubai ferry operation, water taxi, bras, and car-sharing service.
The committee said that despite these announcements, strict security measures would be implemented, including maintaining social distance and not gathering more than five people.
The Dubai Tourism Authority had earlier issued a guideline for hotels asking them to take care of restrictions and cleanliness in shops and restaurants.
However, swimming pools, showers, spas, and private events are still banned and hotels have been instructed to fully sanitize them before reopening them.
