Now can Pakistan get visa at Saudi airport?

Pakistan has welcomed Saudi Arabia’s decision to issue visas to Pakistani citizens at Saudi airports.

A spokesman for the Ministry of Religious Affairs described the decision as an example of a strong relationship between the two countries.

The new visa policy was implemented from January this year, under which a one-year multi-bridge entry visa will be issued to anyone coming from the UK, US and EU to Saudi Arabia.

Imran Siddique told Arab News, “We welcome Saudi Arabia’s decision under which visas will be issued to Pakistanis upon arrival to Saudi Arabia, on which they can also perform Umrah.”

People across Pakistan have praised the decision.

Ahmed Haneef, a resident of Lahore, told Arab News, “This decision by the Saudi government is the best, especially for those who regularly visit Saudi Arabia. It will also increase the number of people going to Umrah. ‘

Ahmad Haneef says he used the visa on arrival service when he went to Umrah in January this year, and he left within 15 minutes of the immigration process.

Ahmed says: ‘When I landed at Madina Airport, two special counters were reserved for people who use this facility. You have to show the US, UK visa or champagne permit that you have traveled to once. This is followed by a one-year multi-bridge entry visa seal for Saudi Arabia. ”

Under this new facility, passengers will only be allowed to Umrah. They will not be able to perform Hajj under this facility.

Passengers using this facility can apply for a visa on arrival at any Saudi airport.

The visa fee is 440 Saudi riyals, which is $ 117 USD and will have to be paid by credit card.

Once a visa is issued, the traveler will be able to stay in Saudi Arabia for 90 days and will be allowed to enter Saudi Arabia several times in a year.

According to a circular issued by Saudi Aviation authorities to Arab News, travelers arriving to Saudi Arabia for the first time will be required to arrive by Saudi Airlines. These include Saudi Airlines, Fly Nose, Flya Dell, while second-time passengers can come from any airlines.

Abu Bakar Siddique, a trader from Sialkot, says: “I got a one-year multi-bridge visa last week when I went to Umrah. I go to Europe regularly and it is better for me to go to Umrah via Saudi Airlines flight and stay in Mecca for two days. ‘

According to him, the new visa policy has made them less traveled and the arrangements and expenses have been reduced in this regard as they no longer have to pay travel agents extra money for urgent visas.
