According to details, Pakistan and FATF task force meeting took place in Paris. The meeting held talks with Pakistan and the Financial Action Task Force, which continued from February 16 to February 21.
The Pakistani delegation was led by Federal Minister for Economic Affairs Hamad Azhar.
The FATF has issued a statement on the conclusion of the talks, which said that Pakistan has reviewed the implementation of the action plan.
Pakistan made significant progress on the implementation of the Action Plan, and implemented the additional 9 FATF recommendations, praising Pakistan’s actions by the FATF.
According to the statement, Pakistan has been given more time to implement the action plan and it has been decided to keep Pakistan on the gray list by June.
Pakistan will have to further implement the recommendations of the Financial Action Task Force by June 2020 and in June, the FATF will review the implementation of the recommendations by Pakistan.
It should be remembered that India tried its best to send Pakistan to the blacklist instead of gray, but it failed.
