According to details, the US-based “HyperFine” company in New York has issued a 501 (k) clearance license for the world’s first portable MRI machine, the US Food and Drug Administration. The company is owned by a Pakistani doctor Siddiqui.
The US Agency for Food and Drugs issues this license only for products that are not only useful but also beneficial for public use.
Although a portable MRI machine weighs 635kg, it is much lighter than a conventional MRI machine, weighing in at around 4,500kg.
The wheels underneath this machine make it easy to use, and this machine will use 35 times less power than a conventional machine.
The machine can be operated in any socket, its image can be viewed on a tablet etc. The same tablet will control this machine.
